WHAT TO EXPECT
No surprises here—we’ve got you covered!
RMR Assessment & Body Composition Ultrasound
Expect a 45-minute appointment. You’ll need to arrive well-hydrated but fasted (no food for 4-6 hours). Wear comfortable clothing, as we’ll perform a quick ultrasound to measure your body composition and assess your metabolic rate while at rest.
AMR & Spirometry
This 60-minute session includes an active test where you’ll need your workout gear and running shoes. Bring water and expect to engage in maximum effort exercise while we measure your active metabolic rate, VO2 Max and lung function using spirometry.
Running Assessment & Gait Analysis
This 30-minute session includes a detailed evaluation of your running form and gait. Wear your workout gear and running shoes, and bring water. You'll go through a series of running assessments, while we analyze your stride, foot mechanics, and overall movement patterns to optimize your running efficiency and reduce injury risk.
Report Reviews (Virtual or In-Person)
Our 45-minute report review can be done virtually or in person. You’ll receive a comprehensive explanation of your results and actionable recommendations to optimize your metabolic health.
Baseline Concussion Testing
This 30-45 minute session involves a comprehensive set of physical and cognitive tests designed to assess brain function before any injury occurs. You’ll start with a brief registration process, including providing your medical history and any previous head injuries. During the test, you'll undergo a series of multimodal assessments, including balance and coordination tasks, cognitive tests (like memory and reaction time), and visual processing evaluations.
Make sure to wear comfortable clothing and bring any necessary eyewear. The goal is to establish a baseline for your brain function, giving healthcare providers a valuable reference point for safer return-to-play decisions if a concussion occurs
