R.E.M.S Bone Scan
R.E.M.S. (Radiofrequency Echographic Multi-Spectrometry) is a non-ionizing ultrasound-based technology for assessing bone health in adults aged 21 and older. It is suitable for individuals across all activity levels and provides clinically relevant data on skeletal integrity. Unlike DEXA, which quantifies bone mineral density, R.E.M.S. evaluates both bone quantity and microarchitectural quality. It also generates a fragility-fracture risk index, offering a more comprehensive picture of bone strength and overall fracture susceptibility.
The ISHP team will process your order, and your kit will be shipped directly to your home.
For blood work analysis, you may visit a LifeLabs (MyHealthspan) or Dynacare (NIA Health) facility for testing, or have a phlebotomist come to your home to perform the blood draw.
Opened or Used Kits
Due to the personal and biological nature of the testing, we cannot accept returns of opened or used kits.
Once the kit seal is broken or a sample has been collected, the purchase becomes non-refundable.
Lab Processing
Once your sample has been mailed to the lab and processing has started, the order is non-refundable.
