At the Institute of Science, Health & Performance (ISHP), we are committed to ensuring digital accessibility for all users, including individuals with disabilities. WEB CONTENT ACCESSIBILITY GUIDELINES (WCAG)

We have adapted this site in accordance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, and have made the site accessible to the level of AA. WCAG 2.1 outlines requirements for designers and developers to improve accessibility for people with disabilities. These guidelines are organized into three levels of compliance: A, AA, and AAA. ISHP aims to meet Level AA accessibility standards, which address the most common and significant accessibility barriers.

OUR COMMITMENT

We strive to:

  • Ensure the site is navigable using keyboard controls.

  • Provide alternative text for all images to assist users with visual impairments.

  • Ensure sufficient contrast for text and interactive elements for users with low vision.

  • Provide descriptive links, so users can understand the destination or purpose of each link.

ONGOING EFFORTS

When booking services via the ISHP website or the Jane app, you agree to provide accurate and complete information. Failure to do so may result in cancellation of your booking.  Appointments booked through the Jane app may require personal information, including health-related data, which is collected and managed according to Health Canada regulations and our Privacy Policy. You are responsible for managing your appointment, including attending on time or canceling within the allowed time frame if necessary.
