What is the Bio-Strong Program?
Bio-Strong is a multi-stage testing and monitoring program focused on understanding and improving endurance, power & strength, and fuelling strategies.
The program evaluates:

VO₂ Max: your body’s maximal oxygen uptake and aerobic capacity

Strength & Power Testing: peak anaerobic power, fatigue rate, and explosive output via Wingate cycling and Proteus analysis

Fuelling Assessment: evaluates how nutrition impacts energy management and endurance

Hybrid Simulation: full hybrid simulation to mimic race-day intensity

Progress over time: repeatable, precise testing allows you to track improvements and adjust training strategies

During the Bio-Strong Hybrid Athlete Assessment, you will complete a series of structured performance evaluations designed to measure how effectively your body produces and sustains strength, power, and conditioning under hybrid demands:
VO₂ Max Test – measures maximal oxygen uptake and aerobic potential
Strength & Power Testing – high-intensity analysis of peak power, fatigue, and explosive strength
Fueling Assessment – evaluates the effect of nutrition on performance through staged intervals with and without your fuelling strategy
Fatigue & Recovery Analysis – examines how performance changes across repeated efforts, helping identify limitations in recovery and sustained output.
Custom Performance Report Review – detailed breakdown of your results with guided insights to help optimize hybrid training, identify performance gaps, and improve long-term athletic development.
Athletic clothing and training shoes are required for the physical testing portions. All assessments are non-invasive, structured, and designed to provide a clear, objective understanding of your hybrid athletic capacity and how it can improve with targeted training over time.
